② THE LEAFLETS FOR FOREIGN TRAVELERS!

The Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 is two years ahead now! The TFD has been working at the leaflets for foreign travelers. They will offer basic life safety tips in several languages: how to make a 1-1-9 emergency call, what to do in an earthquake, etc.

Six kinds of materials will be issued around the end of February: English, original Chinese, simplified Chinese, Korean, Thai and Filipino versions.

The copies of the leaflets are also scheduled to be delivered to railroad stations, hotels and tour information centers for foreign visitors. The contents will be found in the TFD website, too.

Visit our website for your safety!

③ THE FIRE SAFETY TOKYO 2018!

Before the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020, Tokyo plays host to three events this year: the Tokyo International Fire and Safety Exhibition 2018, the 30th General Conference of the International Fire Chiefs’ Association of Asia (IFCAA), and the 47th Kanto Region Fire-Rescue Meet!

The name for these three events is “FIRE SAFETY TOKYO 2018 (FS ’18: Efu Esu Juhachi).” The TFD is going to have the FS ’18 as the opportunity of giving the latest fire and life safety information.
