Don’t Let Electric Fires Kill You!

You might receive an electric shock or let a fire start with an electric appliance left plugged in even if the switches are turned off.

【Electric Fire Safety】(Outlet・Plug・Cord)

  1. In unplugging, hold and pull the plug (NOT the cord) out of the wall outlet.

  2. Be sure to plug in firmly.

  3. Furniture can damage cords. Don’t leave the cord accidentally pressed under furniture or caught between the furniture and the wall.

  4. Don’t leave the cord bundled or twisted.

  5. Don’t have the cord over a heating device like a kitchen range.

  6. Don’t staple the cord to a pillar.

  7. Outlets and cords have their own limits of the quantity of electricity. Check the quantity.

  8. Don’t twist together the core copper wires of a broken cord. Have a dealer check and repair damaged leads.

  9. Use the distribution switch board with a short circuit stopper.
